The government of Nepal has officially established the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, assigning it a wide-ranging mandate to lead national scientific advancement and technological development. Prime Minister Balen Shah is currently overseeing the new ministry, which was formed under the Government of Nepal (Division of Work) Regulations, 2083 BS, following a Cabinet decision on May 13. This strategic move aims to modernize Nepal in line with global scientific and technological progress.
