Nepal Medical Council to Create Expert Roster for Ethical Reviews

The Nepal Medical Council is establishing an official roster of experts to provide impartial and scientific opinions on professional conduct and specialized matters. The council will utilize a transparent, automated random selection system for mobilizing these experts, inviting qualified specialists to apply.

  • Applicants must be registered specialist practitioners with the Nepal Medical Council and have no disciplinary actions for misconduct.
  • Eligible candidates need an MD, MS, MDS, or equivalent degree with at least 10 years of experience post-qualification, or hold the rank of associate professor or above.
  • Preference will be given to specialists with training in bioethics, medical ethics, or good clinical practice, and experience with Institutional Review Committees.
  • Interested specialists must submit applications within seven days of the notice's publication.
