At an event in Kathmandu, speakers emphasized that tourism serves as a platform for cultural and personnel exchanges, enhancing friendship and building a community with a shared future. China looks forward to welcoming more Nepalese tourists, while Nepal aims to attract Chinese visitors.

• The event, titled “2026 China Tourism Day Joint Promotion and China South Airlines Appreciation Event,” was organized by the China National Tourist Office, China Cultural Centre, and China Southern Airlines.
• Liu Zhanping, Director of the China Cultural Centre in Kathmandu, highlighted tourism's role in appreciating nature, experiencing multiculturalism, and promoting civilized exchanges.
• Sunil Sharma, Officiating Director of the Nepal Tourism Board, presented Nepal's tourism products and destinations, inviting foreign participation.
