Nepal Rastra Bank has determined and published the foreign exchange rates for various currencies including the US dollar, Euro, and British Pound Sterling for the current day. The central bank has stated that these rates are subject to revision at any time and may differ from those set by commercial banks.

  • The purchase rate for one US dollar was set at Rs 152.81 and the selling rate at Rs 153.41.
  • Rates for the European Euro were set at a purchase rate of Rs 177.84 and a selling rate of Rs 177.54.
  • The British Pound Sterling had a purchase rate of Rs 205.32 and a selling rate of Rs 206.12.
  • Exchange rates for the Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, and Singapore Dollar were also published.
