Paleti Music Program to Feature Works of Lyricist Shivashankar Thapa

The upcoming Paleti musical program, a 21-year-old event held at Nepalaya's 'R' Sala, will showcase songs written by lyricist Shivashankar Thapa. Thapa, who resides in Birtamod, Jhapa, has had many of his lyrics set to music and performed by various artists. A new song by Thapa will also be performed for the first time at the event.

  • The program will feature songs composed by Deep Shrestha, Subarna Limbu, Prakash Gurung, Balram Samal, Yubaraj Portel, and Mani Bardewa.
  • Vocalists Abhigya Ghimire and Rupak Chaudhary will perform the compositions at this Paleti event.
  • Program coordinator Aabhas expressed pleasure in reviving a musical connection with Thapa, dating back three decades.
  • Shivashankar Thapa stated he is happy to participate in Paleti, having been requested previously but unable to attend due to health reasons.
