Police Outpost Building Inaugurated in Myagdi After Three Decades

A new, well-equipped police outpost building has been inaugurated in Rakse, Myagdi, after three decades of its establishment. The inauguration ceremony was led by Gandaki Province Police Chief and Deputy Inspector General Dipendra Gharti Chhetri, who stated that the new infrastructure will boost police morale and improve service quality through technology. The building's construction was funded by the Gandaki Province government and the Nepal government, with contributions from Singa Tatopani Kund.

  • The Singa Tatopani Police Outpost, established before 2050 BS, had been operating in a rented house until the construction of its own building.
  • The land for the outpost was purchased in 2068 BS for Rs. 10.5 million from the Nepal government and Rs. 425,000 from Singa Tatopani Kund.
  • The construction contract for the building was awarded to Dibyajyoti Nirman Sewa for Rs. 35.1 million.
  • The earthquake-resistant and disabled-friendly building includes administrative branches, detention cells, a communication room, kitchen, barracks, and dormitories.
  • The construction company completed the building within the stipulated time.
