Dhir Bahadur Budha and Sun Maya Budha have won the men's and women's titles, respectively, at the First Chhayanath Ultra Race. The 33-kilometer race was organized by Mugum Karmarong Rural Municipality in Mugu district.

  • The race, which started from Kimri and ended at Pulu, saw 58 runners, including 12 women, compete.
  • Dhir Bahadur Budha finished the men's race in 3 hours, 57 minutes, and 25 seconds, while Sun Maya Budha completed the women's race in 5 hours, 25 minutes, and 50 seconds.
  • The event was held in collaboration with the All Nepal Sports Foundation and aimed to develop the Chhayanath region for tourism and adventure sports.
  • Winners received cash prizes, with first place taking home Rs 200,000, second place Rs 150,000, and third place Rs 100,000.
