483 Land Titles Distributed to Families in Mithila Municipality

In Mithila Municipality, Dhanusha, 483 landless families received land ownership certificates today. The Survey Office, Dhalkebar, distributed the titles to squatters who had been occupying land without ownership. A total of 658 individuals had applied for these land titles.

  • The land titles were distributed to landless squatters in wards no. 6, 7, 8, and 9 of Mithila Municipality.
  • Previously, 64 landless squatter families from wards no. 1, 6, and 7 of the municipality had received land titles.
  • District Coordination Committee Chief Rajnandan Mandal, Mithila Mayor Mahendra Mahato, and other officials were present during the distribution.
  • The Survey Office has surveyed land in 72 out of 75 village blocks in Dhanusha district and has distributed titles for 12 village blocks.
