Lawmakers in the House of Representatives on Monday urged the government to address issues such as shortages of agricultural supplies, rising pollution, tourism management, and delays in public appointments. MP Achyutam Lamichhane highlighted the need for timely availability of fertilizers and seeds for farmers. MP Indira Rana Magar raised concerns about air pollution from asphalt production in Jhapa and called for relocating facilities. MP Anushka Shrestha emphasized the need for effective leadership and institutional structures to promote tourism and speed up public service delivery.
