Parliamentary hearing of proposed CJ Sharma starts

The Parliamentary Hearing Committee (PHC) has begun the hearing for proposed chief justice Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma. The PHC is reviewing work plans and complaints against Sharma, with seven complaints registered so far. The President appoints the Chief Justice upon approval from the PHC, following a recommendation from the Constitutional Council, which has already recommended Dr. Sharma.
