Buddha Air suspends Nepalgunj–Pokhara flight for a month

Buddha Air has temporarily suspended its direct Nepalgunj–Pokhara flight service, which had been operating for nearly five years. The suspension is attributed to a decline in Indian religious tourists and rising fuel costs, making the route financially unsustainable. The flight, operating three times a week since August 2021, was halted from Tuesday, causing disappointment among passengers and tourism entrepreneurs who will now rely on a 14-hour road journey.
