Medical businessman and political activist Durga Prasai has been formally charged at the Parsa District Court with cybercrime and offences against the state. Prasai's statement could not be completed on Monday, leading the court to send him into judicial custody with further proceedings scheduled for Tuesday. He was arrested on May 18 from Diyalo Hotel in Birgunj.
