Heat Wave Risk Rises as Hot Weather Grips Parts of Nepal
Nepal is experiencing mixed weather conditions due to the influence of westerly and local winds, along with a low-pressure system in the eastern region. Cloud cover is present in Himalayan and hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, with partly cloudy conditions in parts of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Madhesh provinces. Rainfall and thunderstorms have been reported in Koshi and Gandaki provinces, with light rainfall in Bagmati Province. Rising temperatures are expected, with hot weather conditions in hilly regions of Sudurpaschim and Lumbini provinces, and a heat wave likely in Tarai areas. Residents in heat-prone regions are advised to remain cautious.
