Russia Claims Downing Over 1,000 Ukrainian Drones in 24 Hours

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported shooting down 1,045 Ukrainian drones in the last 24 hours, along with one guided missile and one cruise missile. This is considered one of the largest drone attacks since the war began. In retaliation, Russia targeted drone manufacturing and storage centers, Ukrainian armed groups, and foreign mercenary bases. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin stated over 120 drones were downed in the Moscow region alone. Analysts suggest this indicates an intensification of the Russia-Ukraine war, with both sides increasing drone and missile usage.
