The Weather Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology reported that westerly winds, local winds, and a low-pressure area near the eastern region are causing generally cloudy weather in the hilly and Himalayan regions. This afternoon, Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces are expected to have cloudy conditions, with partly cloudy weather in Madhesh Province and some Terai regions. Later tonight, similar conditions are forecast, with a possibility of moderate rainfall in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and at one or two places in Madhesh Province.
