Rainfall, thunderstorms in various places of four provinces
Rainfall, accompanied by thunder and lightning, is occurring in various areas across four provinces of Nepal, including Bagmati, Gandaki, Madhesh, and Koshi. Meteorologist Bibhuti Pokharel reported moderate rainfall in parts of Gandaki Province and Chitwan, with some areas of Karnali and Lumbini provinces also experiencing rain. Solukhumbu’s Lum area recorded the highest rainfall in the past 24 hours. Hot daytime temperatures are expected in hilly regions of Sudurpashchim and Lumbini, with possible heatwaves in Terai areas, and windstorms are forecast for some Terai regions.
