The report tracked nearly 250 strikes, riots, and citizens’ movements in the last five years, with Pakistan and Indonesia experiencing the highest numbers. Economic pressures are fueling protests globally, leading to significant insured property damage, such as over $50 million in riots in Indonesia last August and over $20 million in Nepal's Genji protests last September.
