Nepal, APG Discuss FATF Grey List Exit Push

A delegation from the Asia/Pacific Group on Money Laundering (APG-ICRG) met with Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal to review Nepal's progress in implementing reforms required to exit the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) 'grey list'. The delegation highlighted remaining compliance gaps and necessary reforms in Nepal’s anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing framework. Minister Khanal reiterated Nepal's commitment to implementing reforms and strengthening national capacity.
