The National Assembly has passed the Intangible Cultural Heritages (Conservation) Bill, 2081 BS. The Bill was unanimously approved along with a report from the Legislation Management Committee. Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Khadak Raj Paudel, had presented the Bill, and lawmakers including Gita Devkota, Suresh Ale Magar, Rukmini Koirala, and Bishnu Kumari Sapkota participated in the discussions. The National Assembly is scheduled to convene again on May 27.
