Hotter days likely in hilly regions with heat waves in Terai
Nepal is currently experiencing the influence of westerly and local winds, along with a low-pressure area near the eastern territory. Cloudy weather is observed in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, with partial cloud cover in Madhesh province and clear skies in other Terai regions. Moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning is occurring in some areas, with possibilities of moderate to heavy rainfall and snowfall in various hilly and mountainous regions. Heat waves are predicted in the Terai regions of Sudurpashchim and Lumbini provinces.
