The four-day CPN UML secretariat meeting concluded, addressing criticisms of Chairman KP Sharma Oli's leadership by forming a task force led by Vice-Chairman Ram Bahadur Thapa. The meeting finalized work division for the central committee, improved Deputy General Secretary Yogesh Bhattarai's seniority, and decided to give responsibility to former President Bidya Devi Bhandari. Spokesperson Lekhraj Bhatta condemned the current government's actions and announced a nationwide campaign against its policies. The party also finalized the seniority of office bearers and introduced online party membership.
