The Cabinet meeting appointed Joint Secretary Mukesh Dangol as Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN). It also approved a reply letter to the Chinese government for the Nepal-China cross-border electricity transmission line project and fixed the minimum support price for monsoon paddy crops for the fiscal year 2026/27. Additionally, the report of the Commission of Inquiry on irregularities in cooperatives, 2025, was made public.
