The government has initiated the first phase of returning savings to small depositors of crisis-hit cooperatives. The Problematic Cooperative Management Committee has refunded savings to 378 depositors from Kantipur, Shiv Shikhar, and Pashupati cooperatives. Efforts to recover loans are also being intensified to support these repayments, with borrowers having already returned over Rs 20 million.
