Traffic police penalize 13,090 drivers in Kathmandu Valley in one week
The Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office has penalized 13,090 drivers and traffic rule violators in one week, collecting Rs 11.80 million in fines. Actions were taken against drunk driving, ride-sharing violations, red light jumping, speeding, lane violations, sidewalk encroachment, no-horn zones, and one-way driving. The objective is to ensure safer travel and reduce road accidents.
