Traffic Police Impose Fines on 17 Drivers for Mechanical Faults in Vehicles

The Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office conducted a special vehicle inspection campaign in Kirtipur, penalizing 17 drivers for mechanical faults in their vehicles. During the inspection, 47 vehicles were tested, with 17 found to have issues such as faulty handbrakes, broken lights, and worn tires. Traffic police stated that mechanically weak vehicles pose a significant risk to road safety and that such campaigns are regularly conducted to prevent accidents.
