Government Announces Up to 80% Premium Subsidy for Crop and Livestock Insurance

The government has announced a premium subsidy of up to 80 percent for agricultural crop and livestock insurance. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle made this announcement in the budget statement for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/084, stating that the insurance premium subsidy would be increased while other subsidies would be gradually reduced.
