SC issues interim order against arresting Deuba

The Supreme Court issued an interim order preventing the arrest of former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, who is currently in Singapore. The order was issued by Justices Mahesh Sharma Poudel and Nityananda Pandeya in response to a writ petition filed by Deuba. The court directed authorities not to arrest Deuba based on an arrest warrant issued by the Kathmandu District Court, stating that the conditions for arrest under the Asset (Money) Laundering Prevention Act were not applicable in his case.
