Government Announces Road and Bridge Construction Goals

The government plans to pave 1,000 kilometers of road and complete 275 road bridges within the upcoming fiscal year 2083/084. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle stated that the East-West Highway will be expanded to 4 lanes within 5 years, with the expansion of the Kamala-Kanchanpur and Butwal-Narayangadh roads to be completed within the upcoming fiscal year.
