Vision Kathmandu 2040 will be implemented to develop the Kathmandu valley into an advanced city. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle announced this while presenting the annual budget for fiscal year 2026/027. The budget also includes goals for road construction, doubling nutrition allowance for Dalit children, and a comprehensive review of taxes.
