MP Acharya calls for equal infrastructure development in budget debate

RSP lawmaker Bipin Acharya urged the government to ensure equal development rights for all citizens through this year’s national budget, calling for a scientific, just, and transparent allocation of resources for infrastructure development. Speaking in the House of Representatives, Acharya highlighted Taraigaun Airport, the country’s second-oldest airport established in 2011 B.S., as an example of neglect, noting its strategic importance to the economic development of Dang and surrounding districts. He argued that the state has failed to prioritize infrastructure supporting the economic upliftment of nearly 1.8 million people in the region.
