Mahabir Pun Urges Government to Utilize Rural Telecom Fund for Service Expansion

Member of Parliament Mahabir Pun urged the government to utilize the Rural Telecommunication Fund, which holds approximately 16 billion rupees, for expanding communication services in rural areas. He highlighted that the fund's unspent balance deprives rural citizens of essential communication facilities. Pun also demanded an end to the syndicate formed due to the halt in new taxi registrations in Kathmandu Valley, arguing that increased taxi numbers would provide self-employment opportunities.
