Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has outlined five guiding principles for Nepal’s upcoming budget for fiscal year 2083/84: good governance, economic restructuring, integrated infrastructure development, social upliftment, and strengthening soft power. The budget will focus on governance reform, employment-oriented growth, quality public services, and equal opportunity, aiming to make public services faster and more reliable while combating issues like money laundering. It also prioritizes an investment- and production-oriented economy, coordinated infrastructure development, and leveraging economic diplomacy.
