The Himalayan Literature Festival & Writers’ Workshop 2026, an international literary event dedicated to Guru Prasad Mainali, will take place in Kathmandu from May 29 to June 5. The eight-day program will feature poets, novelists, translators, filmmakers, scholars, and writers from Nepal and around the world, exploring themes of healing, consciousness, creativity, memory, and cultural dialogue. The festival, in collaboration with Ncell Foundation, aims to promote Nepal’s literary and cultural heritage through masterclasses, workshops, keynote addresses, poetry readings, and film screenings.
