The fourth Kathmandu Kalinga Literary Festival 2026 will be held on June 6-7 at Hotel Himalya in Lalitpur, featuring writers, artistes, and intellectuals from South Asia. The festival aims to foster discussions on literature, art, philosophy, cinema, and cultural relations, connecting Nepali writers with global trends and showcasing Nepal's literary traditions. Festival director Ranjana Niraula stated that while criticism is natural, the festival is open to all ideologies and strives to include new voices and younger generations.
