European Union Ambassadors Arrive Nepal for Two-Day Mission

A two-day high-level mission from the European Union (EU) to Nepal, led by EU Ambassador Veronique Lorenzo, began on May 25. The delegation, comprising 22 Ambassadors and Deputy Heads of Missions from EU Member States, met with the new government to reaffirm strong ties between the EU and Nepal. Discussions included meetings with the Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, and Minister of Education, Science and Technology, as well as private sector, civil society, and youth leaders. The mission aimed to congratulate the new government, support Nepal's development priorities, and explore new avenues for cooperation.
