The government has presented two key bills in the House of Representatives to replace election-related ordinances issued for the March 5 election. Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sobita Gautam introduced the House of Representatives Members Election (First Amendment) Bill, 2083 and the Voter Name List (First Amendment) Bill, 2083. The proposals were approved for introduction and will be further deliberated upon in a future session.
