Many of Nepal’s national pride highway projects remain unfinished after more than a decade, with severe delays, escalating costs, and slow construction progress reported. The Mid-Hill Pushpalal Highway, Postal Highway, Kathmandu-Tarai-Madhes Fast Track, and the Koshi, Kaligandaki, and Karnali corridors are all significantly behind schedule and over budget.
