Construction Entrepreneurs Submit Memorandum to Department Over Price Hikes

The Federation of Construction Entrepreneurs' Nepal (Fekan) submitted a memorandum to the Department of Water Supply and Sewerage Management due to rising construction material costs, unable to continue work. Fekan claims a loss of approximately Rs 10 billion due to increased fuel and material prices, noting that India has adjusted prices while the Nepali government has not. They demand scientific price adjustment, no blacklisting for halted projects, and extended deadlines with budget management, warning of a halt in construction work.
