Proposed Chief Justice Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma presented a vision for judicial reform, pledging to resolve cases within 18 months and base appointments on merit. He emphasized using information technology to expedite proceedings, introducing an electronic tracking system and specialized benches for infrastructure and tax cases. Sharma also proposed a transparent appointment process through the Judicial Council Nepal, capacity building via universities and the National Judicial Academy, and a victim-friendly justice system. He vowed to eliminate corruption and make reform progress public every two months via the Supreme Court website, seeking legislative and executive support to strengthen public trust.
