Radio language class launched in Shuklagandaki

A 'Radio Language Class' program has been launched in Shuklagandaki, Tanahun, organized by the Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities Coordination Council to preserve endangered languages and culture. The one-week program aims to transfer mother tongues to the next generation through radio-based classes focusing on languages like Newar, Kumal, Gurung, and Magar. Chief Administrative Officer Shishir Paudel emphasized the challenge of intergenerational language transfer in Nepal and the need for shared responsibility.
