Raghuganga Moves to Introduce Kham Language in Community Schools
▸ Part of: Pokhara School Land Cleared of Encroaching Structures After Court RulingRaghuganga Rural Municipality in Myagdi district is set to introduce formal teaching of the Magar Kham language in 15 community schools with a majority Magar population. A week-long teacher training program on the language was recently completed, jointly organized by the Nepal Pun Magar Society and the local government. A Grade 1 textbook in Magar Kham has also been published to support classroom instruction.
