India will host the foreign ministers of the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue (Quad) nations in New Delhi on May 26 to anchor security and development initiatives across the Indo-Pacific. Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong, Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi, and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will attend the meeting. Discussions are expected to focus on a Free and Open Indo-Pacific, maritime security, critical technology, climate resilience, and emerging security challenges. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that Washington is actively engaged in discussions with India to significantly broaden energy cooperation.
