Conservationists are pleased by the sighting of endangered red-headed vultures in the Krishnasar Conservation Area, a species that had largely disappeared from the region. Around 12 of these birds have been regularly observed over the past week, visiting nearby areas in search of food. While nests have not yet been found, conservation officials hope the birds may settle and nest permanently in the protected area, which could benefit conservation and tourism efforts.
