Refusal to register petition against Chief Justice Sharma upheld

The Supreme Court has ordered a writ petition challenging the Constitutional Council Ordinance to be forwarded to the Constitutional Bench. The court also upheld the Supreme Court administration's refusal to register a separate writ petition concerning the nomination of Chief Justice Manoj Kumar Sharma, ruling the issue moot as the appointment has been finalized. Advocate Gita Thapa had filed the petition against the ordinance, arguing the Chief Justice's recommendation violated its provisions.
