Underground water found in Korala at altitude of 4650 metres

An underground water test has been successfully conducted in the no-man's land area of the Korala Border Point connecting Nepal and China in Upper Mustang. Water was discovered at a depth of 120 meters during drilling by a technical team, addressing the previous lack of natural water sources at the 4,650-meter altitude. The Lo Manthang Rural Municipality funded the project, which aims to ensure a proper drinking water supply for traders and tourists at the border point.
