Internet, telephone services enhanced at Korala border checkpoint

Additional equipment has been installed for the micro web BTS tower at the no-man’s land near the Korala checkpoint on the Nepal–China border. A team from Nepal Telecom, in coordination with Lomanthang Rural Municipality, installed the equipment to address issues with limited capacity. The solar-powered BTS tower's capacity has been increased with enhanced batteries and solar panels for both 2G and 4G services, ensuring round-the-clock mobile network and internet services.
