The Bagmati provincial government will celebrate Republic Day for three days, from May 27 to 29, with various programs. A provincial-level Republic Day Main Celebration Committee has been formed, chaired by Chief Minister Indra Bahadur Baniya. The celebrations will include an essay competition, blood donation, a free health camp, tree plantation, and a main ceremony, along with awarding four outstanding journalists.
