Man Posing as Contractor Defrauds 37-Year-Old Woman of Rs 900,000 Using Fake Tender Story

A 37-year-old woman from Kathmandu was defrauded of Rs 900,000 by a man she met on a dating app. He posed as a contractor and convinced her to lend him money for a fake government tender, claiming his funds were frozen. The man, who avoided CCTV and public meetings, became unreachable after receiving the cash. The woman reported the incident to the Cyber Bureau, which advised her to file a complaint at a local police station.
