KMC Acting Mayor Dangol departs for Cannes Film Festival

Acting Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Sunita Dangol, has departed for France to attend the 79th Cannes Film Festival at the invitation of Cannes Mayor David Lisnard. Dangol will participate in various festival sessions and meet with officials and city representatives. Kathmandu and Cannes are both members of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the film category. Nepali filmmaker Abinash Bikram Shah's film "Elephant in the Fog" is also being screened at the festival.
