The institute will consolidate diagnostic, surgical, and therapeutic resources to provide comprehensive cancer treatment under one roof, becoming fully operational within three years. It will offer advanced services including diagnosis, surgical oncology, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, palliative care, and specialized departments, alongside a strong focus on academic research and international collaborations to reduce Nepal's reliance on foreign medical institutions for specialized cancer treatment.
